Field trips

From Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th, two optional post-congress fieldtrips are planned to the Southern Pyrenees in the spectacular Tremp area, a world class natural laboratory for Geology and Southern Pyrenean Soils.

Regional Geology With the title of “From Field Data to 3D Models”, this fieldtrip will allow the participants to enjoy some of the most relevant structural and stratigraphic features of the Southern Pyrenees and their connection to their 3D modelling. More info	Soils With the title “Soil information for the sustainable development in mountainous areas”, this fieldtrip will provide a unique opportunity to enjoy some of the most relevant Southern Pyrenean soil features on selected spots, showing their relations to the geological, landform and climatic parameters, and their relations with the vineyards in the region. Both fieldtrips

• Departure from Barcelona: Wednesday 17^th of June, afternoon.
• Return to Barcelona: Friday 19^th of June. Arrival to the airport is scheduled at 11:00h.
• Fee for each field trip: 280 €, including guidebook, ground transportation, accommodation and meals.
